Paul's Brooklyn Party

Mr. Studer went to a Louis Armstrong concert in Brooklyn, and after the show he went backstage to meet the musicians. There he met Jeann "Roni" Failows. He invited her and two of her friends back to his Brooklyn flat where they had a party that lasted three days. This was the beginning of a several year-long relationship with Jeann, during which they both shared a contagious enthusiasm for jazz and completely immersed themselves in the scene.
