Louis Armstrong Recording Sessions

Paul Studer had the privilege of being allowed to photograph the recording of two of Louis Armstrong's albums in 1957 - Satchmo: A Musical Autobiography and Louis and the Angels. He had a camera with a silent shutter, the Leica M2. The photographs capture the atmosphere of humor and celebration. Many thanks to Ricky Riccardi and Richard Basi for identifying the musicians.
